The best part about tutoring is that I get to make it fun. It's never a chore or just a job - I enjoy every lesson! I don't see why learning should be painful for the student or the teacher. So I use crazy memorization strategies and unexpected examples to make my students smile and keep them engaged.My qualifications include an MBA from the highly-esteemed Carey School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Accountancy from Eastern Illinois University. While I was still a student, I worked as a teaching assistant and tutor. My tutoring experience has covered various levels of Mathematics, Accounting, Statistics, Finance, and others. I have worked with a wide variety of school-age and college-level students. I am currently employed at PetSmart as a Financial Analyst. My role in this position is to run tests and evaluate the potential effect of company proposals, which means I am using my finance skills daily. But my favorite company perk is that everyone can bring their pets to the office on Fridays.My hobbies are watching baseball, crafting, reading, and running. I also love the outdoors. But my priorities are quality family time - and tutoring!
